Players who might improve us

This! if the Kross deal doesn't work out then a 25m bid for Rakitic would be great business.

Kroos for me is a non starter unless Real buy Pogba even though it pains me to say it why would he leave.

The rags can delude themselves as much as they like but Pogba is staying at Juve unless is either pushed by them to go or Real come in and snap him up.

Koulibaly

Big unit, like Mangala, but comfortable on the ball.

COMPLETELY AGREE. I have seen him play for Napoli around a dozen times last season and his consistently excellent defensive play was overshadowed by Higuain's amazing goalscoring feat.

If Everton do sign him with the Stones money they will have effectively have completed an upgrade.

That said, I cannot see him going anywhere but to Chelsea.

Conte is a massive admirer of Koulibaly and it is probably just a matter of time before he ends up at Stamford bridge. Fee? probably around £50m (€61m)

I am not advocating this but would David Luis fit Pep's model of a ball playing CB?

Christian Eriksen.

Apparently, he's rejected a new contract at Spurs as he's after a big pay rise. The London Standard reckons talks between both parties are continuing, but I'd love to see him at City. Two years left on his current contract.

I'm sure he turned us down once before? If so then fuck him.

I think he's a Coutinho type. Looks good on Match of the Day but doesn't do enough.

We've already got better in his position and with the potential new recruits we don't need to spend money there.

Now if he was a CB, CM or FB then it would be a different matter.

Am I missing a reference, who are you referring to? Eriksen?
