Players who might improve us

Payet - fed up of WHU it seems and wants back in the CL.

i dont think he consistently performs to be considered for us but then again, you never know what you might get out of him if he was in a top team.

I wouldn't say we need him. We already have a younger, and I'd say better, player of his caliber in KDB. Plus age isn't on his side and the fee West Ham would want wouldn't justify us going in for him.

Ok, its not my money, and its definitely wishful thinking, but anyone fancy offering Barcelona £60 million (or whatever it takes) and Bravo for Ter Stegen?

I think we may be linked to him, but I don't see any threads on him, but Franck Kessie on Atalanta could become an amazing player under Pep in the midfield.

Won't reallly solve any of our problems. Ter Stegen is worse in distribution and more mistake-prone.

Fabinho seems ideal, but we've had no strong links as far as i know. Young yet experienced, versatile, energetic, physically suitable, tactically adaptable.

Arturo Vidal.

Can't understand why we not being linked and it's all about him going to Chelsea.
surely he ticks all the boxes, played for pep and what we are crying out for in midfield.
did I miss something?

Nah i was thinking the same thing the other day, why would be after N'Zonzi if Vidal is available? Same age bracket, roughly the same rumoured price, yet i think a big difference in quality.

Adama Traore

Gives the ball away quite a bit but over 8 take ons per game at nearly 75% success rate? That's ridiculous.

Imagine bringing him on in our team against tired defences. Total chaos

Nowhere near the finished article. He can take a man on and he's got pace but his decision making is non-existent. Boro fans seem to love him because he's exciting but he cannot pick a pass and his shooting is poor too. He'd probably get nowhere near our first team.

tbf, I posted this in the Adama Traore thread, not as someone who would improve us right now, at least not as a starter, but sometimes you've got to take a gamble on players who aren't the finished article. If he improves his decisionmaking you're talking a big fee in the future.
As an impact sub, a total wildcard, he's worth looking at. Put it this way, I'd rather have him coming on after 75mins than Navas, and I don''t hate Navas as plenty seem to do. Traore could never score or get an assist but for sure he'd create space for others to do so. He creates chaos and against stubborn well organised defences that has value.

No nend for any sort of attacker let alone a tricky pacy little fella. At the moment we have sane sterling nolito Navas and jesus to add to kdb silva kun and kelechi.

A plethora of attacking options.

The real need is big cm break up machines or someone who is like Dinho/Kante but the age of Kante.

And the biggest need of all is 2 full backs (then another 2) under 25. Simple as that. A full back who is very tidy and athletic will.do on both flanks. Just need to be young whippets. Rose walker Clyne Bertrand all showing you don't need a highly rated fella. Just give a young set of legs a chance. Be amazing what you'd find.

So on that basis let's get Robertson, Verrati and fabiho over the line for now.

Simples.
