There are always a few players who don’t have one. Laporte doesn’t have one yet.

But more importantly, I think it’s time we got some new City chants. Not had one for about a quarter of a century since we started singing “The Best Team In The Land And All The World”.

City chants are the ones that more of the stadium join in with and stay with us for much longer.

Player chants come and go like the players. But a new City chant made up today could still be being sung in a few decades’ time.

Laporte does have a song.

Re general chants. Think the empty seats one might still be going way into the future.
