Mahrez was absolutely quality with us, His involvement in games was huge with not only his goals and assists but his game overall he caused full backs nightmares.

Mine was Gareth Barry, Seriously good player for us.

Palmer in recent years. Knew he was good, but not this good.

Boateng and Van Buyten both had very good careers after us. Both multiple CL finalists and CL winners.

Looking back we did well to have Anelka play for us for where we were back in early to mid 00s. Champions League quality player.

I agree. One of those players that watching on TV didn't do him justice. Watching him live you could appreciate he had a great tactical awareness and he knew where to be at the right time.

Some good shouts so far. Mahrez and Cole Palmer in more recent times. Looks like Delap might be another the way he’s playing. In past years Barry, Anelka and Clive Wilson, quite possibly the last decent left back we’ve had.
