Met loads of players over the years (Paul Lake, Patrick Vieira, Tommy Booth and Trevor Sinclair being exceptionally likeable).

Also, I met Khaldoon at Manchester Airport, last January.

I gushed out a "thanks for EVERRRYthinng!!!".
He shook my hand and promised:
"I'll get you a league this year as well!"
And then he said so long, turned around and headed off down the concourse.

I stood there, staring like an eejit as he walked away...

"Call me..." I softly whimpered...

I know know how that blonde kid felt at the end of Shane.

:)

ahaha great post....

I met Vieira and I'm not just saying this - he's one of the best blokes I've ever come across in my life, such a quality bloke.

Same can be said for Lakey.

Bojinov - nice bloke

Martin Petrov - nice bloke but a bit moody

Roy Keane - **** of the highest order, reaffirmed why I despise him so much. Had the pleasure of calling him a prick (i was about 14 so young enough to get away with it, but I did shit a brick after I'd said it!)

Never understood why ANYONE would be scared of Roy Keane...

Went to watch City at Norwich some years ago, found that City were staying in same hotel as me. Bumped into Tony Book, I said I'd travelled down to watch them, wished the team well, and he gave me two tickets for the game. Really genuine, not full of himself like some.

Paul Lake at his book signing at the Stadium Store, cracking bloke took time to chat to everyone and have a Pic took with them, Paul Power at a charity Match some years back, another top bloke.

Way back I met Michael Robinson in a London supporters branch meeting. He was complaining of headaches and it turned out that he headed a goalpost playing for Preston and had a hairline fracture of the skull - but City still bought him. Tony Book (who was manager at the time) came over to our table and told him to keep quiet about the headaches!

Yes, I bumped into Skip on the seafront at Napoli last season on the morning of the CL match and had a brief chat with him, a really nice bloke.
