I'm warming to Roy Keane, Troy Deeney, Graeme Souness and Danny Murphy as pundits.
As players they were on my "Avoid" list.
I kind of thought of them as thugs.
Now on tv I'm enjoying them whilst the likes of Micah and Ian Wright who I enjoyed as players are total tools.
Is anyone else feeling the same?
People you admired talking crap whilst now having to agree with players who were on the enemy list.

Never forget what that **** Keane did to Haaland. Fuck him
I'm not forgetting that but I liked his analysis of the game today. Didn't hold back on his friends and club.

Outside of football, he has been an ambassador for dogs for the blind and has pumped in a lot of his personal money for the cause.

don't regard Keane as a pundit, he is playing an exaggerated form of himself (a miserable arsehole) for the cameras i.e. acting, just hasn't got the bottle to do it properly like Cantona and Vinnie Jones.

Are you joking
Oscar on the way for this

Keane's a ****, regardless of whether you find him entertaining.

Souness can be fine but is overly emotional and the mask slips.

Deeney pontificating about the Rags dropping off in the 2nd half after his Watford were the worst for surrendering meekly to us just puts me right off. A bit like Neville pontificating about managers then getting his arse handed to him at Valencia.

Robbie Savage. Hated him as a player but I like his punditry. He's the only one who seems to want us to win CL games.

Let’s be honest, we’ve only warmed to Keane because of the relationship between him and Micah. If it wasn’t for Micah, people wouldn’t find his grumpiness half as funny.

I’ll be honest though, I quite like rat boy as a pundit.

I enjoy listening to Keane, Neville and Carragher and didn't like any of them as players.
Micah is a brutal pundit tbh but comes across as a good lad and is funny at times
None of the BBC pundits are that interesting, all a bit bland

His football career was before my time, but I can't stand Souness as a pundit. He's terrible.

I like Carragher though.

None, Keane, take away his pretend rants about the rags and tell me when he said something insightful.
There are good pundits but I didn't mind them as players so no point in naming them.
