Please Don't Ever Criticize Our Support Again

Back to normal tonight, allowing "you'll never walk alone" to be heard across the ground was fucking poor.

i managed to get three tickets for the match with my dad and brother and went in the north stand, wasnt bad actually started plenty of " come on citys" " we love you city we do" " stand up " and most importantly didnt hear anyone moaning :)

the east stand corner were terrible btw
 
me and my brother were in the southeast corner and we tried and tried to get city singing.

Pissing in the bloody wind, I tell ya. Liverpool fans shown us up, tonight.
 
Semi and an empty ground embarrassing but club should have made all tickets ten quid and made sure it was packed and rocking.

Within 4 days we had one of the best atmospheres at the Etihad/CoMS ever and last night one of the worst. I was in 127 near a bunch of media types with their fancy monitors for a change but the atmosphere was horrendous there. I would blame the lack of presence in the South Stand but it was the same against the rags and the entire stadium was up for it!
 
Our 'support' is nowhere near as good as some people like to claim.

Certainly not nowadays anyway.

Pathetic tonight - partly contributed to the poor showing by the players, whether you want to admit it or not. Yes, yes, I know some will say the players should lift us....but it works both ways!!
 
True, there was a brief rise in temperature when the team started to get their act together in the second half but it didn't last. Overall I think the atmosphere was even worse than minor league games like Wigan though. Liverpool fans were outstanding but away fans usually are including City's own.
 
I agree LC - shocked at how 'flat' the atmosphere was - it was a Semi for frig's sake!

Made it much worse to hear the Scousers so loud and clear.

(My family taped the game too and I just watched it again earlier and the noise was as poor as I thought)
