I've a grandson (not old enough yet) to think of, so won't be giving mine up, as he'll get the benefit soon enough.
I currently live 170 miles away, and have missed more games this year than before, but I intend to be only a handful of miles away by next season (retirement), so hopefully easier access, and no work interfering.
There's a bit too much moaning about the price of season tickets in my opinion, but without a season ticket, I'd maybe only do a a handful of games each season, such is the disparity between the two.
Despite what some think (depends where you sit I guess), my season ticket is fantastic value, and in two seasons time (assuming City don't get rid of the FOC discount) it will get even better value.
I've been watching City for over 50 years, and this years "dreadful" season, would have ranked as one of the best in most of those years up until 2011.
