Please Help Protect Racecourse Ground Wrexham!

Thanks everyone, its a great support for us.

Here is your club manager scoring one of the most spectacular goals of his career at the Racecourse ground for Wales against Spain.

Big thanks to all the City fans who have signed so far.

Your support is great. Hope your season continues to go from strength to strength. Football needs a new recruit at the top of the Premiership.

I was at that game, finished 3-0, running battles with Swansea fans after the game was a nightmare though.

We have had loads of support from the BlueMoon forum this bank holiday monday.

Its brilliant of you and will really help us protect the stadium.

Just reading this artcicle by Simon Hill

and quote from an older Man city fan
"Us older supporters remember the last big spree in 1979, when Steve Daley, Michael Robinson and Bobby Shinton were going to lead us into a glorious new era … hmmmm."

There are a few connections between Wrexham and Man City, apart from Mark Hughes and Eddie Nedz. Bobby Shinton was our star player when we went up as champions in 77/78. He was a boyhood hero and I went over to Maine road to watch him make his debut. Sadly he couldnt cut it at that level and was soon off loaded. He was a confidence player like many flair footballers and his career seemed to have been scupperd by Malcom Allison's bulging chequebook.
Kevin Reeves is another ex Man City player who spent many years at the Racecourse as our popular Assistant Manager.

Bit of nostalgia...

Thanks for your support.
