Feel like you might be right but can't be sure if Nico O'Reilly did or not or whether he played later on for the first team, Cole Palmer 100% played for the youths and then first team later on the same day though.

He actually played for the first team first, coming on for Bernardo against Burnley and then played for the youth team against Leicester City and scored a hat-trick.

Rico Lewis also did something similar playing for both the EDS and first team in the same day.

I reckon a couple of the lads will be in the bench, especially ones that got subbed on/off after an hour

From the match report, it looks like we will struggle to progress.

After two games, City have two points and therefore sit fifth in Group A.

Only the top two teams from the eight-team groups advance to the knockout stage.

We have two more games to play. We welcome RB Leipzig and AS Monaco to the Joie Stadium in the New Year.
