Using my phone so I cant post a link, its on the Daily Mail and their source is from Germany. Apparently a 16.5m offer is on the table for Lukas Podolski, if he could continue his Germany scoring form (30+ goals) for us, he could be an awesome signing, as well as a 2nd striker/attacking mid.

For some reason he is a different player when he plays for Germany, But at club level its not happening for him. There was a lot of hype surrounding him the last few seasons but nobody was willing to take a gamble on him, 3 goals all season for Cologne says it all.

He's extremely Bellamyish, always looks to drive forward. Nearly as fast but with a much better cross, and as accurate a shot.

Can't see us being in for him, though, and he's a bit of a homebird.
