If you were late and still entered the stadium, you would still get your points. If you totally missed the game, for whatever reason, i suppose it would have to go down to experience.

What if you are run over by a bus or attacked by a really angry basset hound? Who's going to police this? As far as City are concerned, you've bought their product; it's up to you whether you use it or not.

I'm sure there are plenty of people on here who will be happy to set up a committee to rule on each individual case

Worryingly, you're probably correct. Any system that's put in place will have it's flaws. Generally I think ours is pretty good.

Good luck getting past the retina scanners. They're also installing sensors on the seats linked to a timer. If you're not sat in it more 80 minutes or more, you'll lose your points.

The early rounds of the league cup and the Europa cup we played in a half empty stadium, do those 20k supporters who didnt bother to attend deserve to be on a level playing felid as the rest of us who attended those games, do they fuck. Not now and not in 10 years time. Villa at home in the cup level 3 closed says it all really.

Every one thinks loyalty is measured by how many aways you go to etc. It's bollocks. It the 25k who turn up for the early stages of the league cup/fa cup/europa leagues. I will be there.Why?? Fuck all to do with loyalty points,it's to do with the fact I love watching city at every oppurtunity i can.

The solution is pretty obvious; the club should implement a system whereby you have to take a certain number of away ticket stubs in person to the ticket office at 9am on the day of sale. They should also ensure that only two ticket windows are open at that time, both staffed by old timers equipped only with a pencil.

This, you will agree, is flawless in every way. It is ultra convenient, perfectly fair and will never lead to chaos and 8 hour queues for a big match like a play off final or an FA Cup derby at old Trafford (and Alan Wilkie will not fucking thieve the tie from us as a bonus direct consequence).

Winner.

not really, a true loyal fan will turn up at Eastlands to watch City, I join all cup schemes because I know if City are at home then I'll be there regardless of the opposition or in which competition. Someone else might think bollox to the League Cup I'll save my money, buy a ticket for Fulham away and flog it and I'll get more points.

Same here i wanted Burton Albion so i could see a few goals get put away! People would not be asking for them tickets though would they? The only want the small games like United and Real Madrid

Perhaps this could be stopped by the club only apportioning the points when you have gained actual access into the stadium.

Also, it is obviously easy enough for City to add loyalty points to our accounts, so it should be just as easy to deduct them. If you buy a ticket and don't turn up, you get a points deduction.

After all, is a ''Loyalty'' points system.

So what would happen if you ligitimately couldn't turn up. I work all over and quite often have had to miss/been late for midweek games as I am stuck on a motorway somewhere.

Why should I miss out on points in those circumstances where it was beyond my control and I can't even pass the ticket on as I have it in my wallet? Lose/Lose then isn't it

Leave earlier or don't buy the ticket if there is a possibility you won't make it

So everyone who has moaned on this thread attended brum at home last year,liverpool at home in the semi,Reading at home in the cup the year before??

I think not. If you go to these games,you get points.That is fact. If they buy a ticket but have no intention of attending well that must be the few who are very well off!
