There's a West Ham player who's very active in local campaigning. Donates the majority of his wages to local charities. He doesn't want any credit for it. Just feels it's his moral duty to help others.

Passed the bar and became a lawyer before being appointed minister for Justice (Atorney General). Sat as a MP 2002-2017.
 
That is a sobering read.

They didn't even mention the fact that one of Croatia's most capped players funded a documentary that denied the scale of death at the Jasenovac concentration camp.
Seems like the Croatian national team is a recruiting sergeant for Nazism.

Croatia is about as racist a country as you’ll find. My son was travelling through Europe during the World Cup and was in Zagreb for the final watching it in one of the fan zones. He said the racist abuse whenever a black French player touched the ball was widespread and seemingly normal there. No surprise who they were allied with in WW2.
