Dubonnet and lemonade is very nice. Fernandel advertised Dubonnet. "Dubo, Dubon, Dubonnet" I think that explains it.

People with no skin in the game except flagflying versus people with livelihoods to be ruined.

What we need is Gary Neville saying the demo by the French fishers is wrong but their anger is fully justified.

Exactly right, and as long as those who think they have no skin in the game stays above 45% the government will do what the fuck they want. Trumpian politics.

Yep it's a pathetic pissing contest by both sides.
The sort of thing that a year or two ago would have been quietly resolved in a room in Brussels without anyone even knowing about it. But then there would be no mileage to be gained by the government sticking it to the French in the run up to an election.

Spot on and almost certainly a case of political bravado on both sides.

The bloke with the musket did make me laugh though.
