Political relations between UK-EU

I’ve never once claimed the government hasn’t engaged in corruption but what cheek does your fellow Irishmen have to talk about “loons” in the UK in reference to a Democratic vote? The nerve of it. The veil of decency we once had? When? Under Cameron? Blair? You must have missed the tobacco fiasco with the F1 over here, as blatant a corruption as you’ll see and that was years ago. Political decency has not been there for a very long time pal. But by the way, irish politics has been a joke for many a year when it comes to corruption. In fact it was not so long ago the most corrupt place for politics in the West. My view was the Irish people deserve better at the time but I held my tongue whilst I was in Ireland as an Englishman as it was your business, your pal decides to come on an English based website and call the majority of the electorate here “loons”, which he’s entitled to if the website owner lets him but it’s still a cunts trick.
This is what he said.

have met plenty of really awesome people, but I’ve met some loons too or maybe not loons, but those that you just know would easily be taken in by this shit.

Hardly what you are claiming. It's far from the denigration you're whinging about. A little untrustworthy of you no?
I know what a seedy political class exists here, I have the maturity to accept criticisms that are true from anyone not just my fellow Irishmen.
Seems you don't have a problem with the message just the messengers? If so I apologise for any upset caused.

I just don’t particularly like people who don’t live here telling us what’s what. You’re completely entitled to complain about the Irish border issues as it’s an issue you that affects you. About what else goes on in the UK politically is none of your business. I wouldn’t dream of criticising Irish people who voted for their own leaders even if the leaders were poor as it’s none of my business. By him mentioning loons he’s essentially saying that’s why the current government are in. Issues with the Uk gov are issues for Uk citizens and the Irish need to stay out of that as agreed in 1922.

People hate to admit they’re wrong, let alone duped.

We‘re still in the denial phase, which means deflection and anger.

Don't be daft. We've got threads on here about US, Brazilian, European and many other country's politics. Are we supposed to not have an opinion on anything that doesn't directly affect us personally?

I no longer live in the UK and I think its full of fucking loons. Sorry if you don't like it and maybe I'll change my opinion when the fucking loons stop being so fucking loony.

There's areas where no-one lives for a start.
