Thought Gabriele Marcotti, the sports jounalist made a good point which Blues might remember IF we don't manage to attract the sort of names that were being mentioned after the takeover. His point was in relation to Buffon and City and said that some of the world's best - and already well-paid - may baulk at coming to MCFC as they may not be playing in the Champions League until 2010/2011 season at the earliest.
Remember: Chelsea were already an established CL team when Abramovich bought CFC. We'll probably have to pay mega-wages to acquire the Kaka's, etc.

I have just been to sleep for a few hours...and awoken to fucking Arry Rednapp bitching about how we are "distorting the transfer market". I would like to distort his face the ugly, pizza faced, bitter, jealous fucker. Talk about green eyed monster. Now SkyUnited News seem to be searching the globe for anyone who can bad mouth us. How long before the FA put a salary cap on the league, now the darlings of the premiership are being totally over-shadowed?
