Poll: Lights Out Projection For The Semi Final Derby

City's Brilliant Light show.

What a great great atmosphere at the Chelsea game. I am sure the lights down show had a great effect on our supporters as It made the whole thing feel really very special. What a simple Idea that gets everyones spirits up ready for the action on the pitch. They even left out the music and allowed the fans to create our own pre match atmosphere just prior to the teams arrival. WELL DONE CITY..UNIQUE AND BRILLIANT!..
Could I suggest maybe spotlight the tunnel/Immediate area for the players arrival and keep the lights down as they come onto the pitch and during the players handshake. That would raise the roof I think. Lights on just prior to the teams breaking away.
Great stuff though and a huge pat on the back for daring to be different.

Any thoughts anyone??.. This club do listen now to us fans which Is brilliant In Itself...

The floodlights have to be on, and working at full strength for when the players come on the pitch. It's down in the FA's rules.

7. Noisy neighbours

Stadium announcer could introduce Fergie's arrival with "Looks like someone's come round to complain about the noise"

OK..Well lets get the players coming out Into that atmosphere( pull the tunnel back) and put the lights on just prior to them going onto the pitch Itself. I am sure they could be stopped from going onto the actual playing area til the lights come on... It takes like two seconds for those lights to kick In?. I just think we could score In terms of raising the atmosphere even further, and putting the fear of god Into some teams. Just a thought I am sure we could delay the switch flicking a little longer, as long as the walk out area Is lit up dont see a problem..

It seems City have stumbled or come up with something pretty special and original. When you come across something like this you have to develop it further.

I for one would like to see the club develop this lights out and projection futrher. There are numerous scenarios that can be devloped around it.

Hopefully the club will take on onboard some of the ideas that have been discussed in this thread along with their own ideas and roll them out over the coming months, while it's still dark.

What about high viz white and blue scarfs for the semi? Imagine that with the lights turned off and 42,000 high viz blue and white scarfs glowing in the dark.

The 6-9000 could then take them to Stretford for the return leg.

oK, some ideas are a bit silly, perhaps that is, but there's nothing wrong with coming up with ideas.
