20:00 Kick off time (UK). Match takes place at the Parc des Prince, Paris.
Coverage starts at 19:30 on BBC1. Camel Gob and Shearer in the studio, Keown and Mowbray on commentary.
Group F as it stands:
Portugal along with Belgium probably put in the worst performance in the opening game. Ronaldo went missing again, this time missing easy chances, the whole team seems setup around him, so when he plays poor so do Portugal. If they want to get a favourable draw (top 2) then they probably need a least a point in this game. Portugal should focus on getting crosses in the box as they looked a threat against Iceland when that happened.
Goal scorers so far: Nani (1)
Austria were tipped by many to be the dark horses at the start of the tournament but looked more like a lame donkey against Hungary. Having started the game well and hitting the woodwork they progressively got worse and defended poorly for the 1st goal. They weren’t helped by being harshly reduced to 10 men mid-way through the 2nd half. They desperately need a least a point to give themselves a chance of going through. Arnautovic needs to perform much better to give them some sort of attacking threat.
No goal scorers so far.
I can see a stalemate in this game 1-1, I think one of these 2 will probably go out in the groups.
