Seeing as on 10th July Spain will be among the countries from which passengers arriving in England won't have to go into 14 days quarantine there's no reason why Real Madrid can't play the last 16 2nd leg at the Etihad. This will be much to the annoyance of those sections of the media that reported yesterday that if there were any travel restrictions in place the game would have to take place in Portugal.
Which brings me to the next point. If City are, as we hope, successful in progressing to the last 8 Portugal is currently not on the government's listed of amber and green countries which means that if City travel to Portugal under the current regulations the whole party will face a 14 day quarantine period on their return.
I still haven't seen what the problem is with Portugal either.
