Possible Player Problems?

I think it is an article in the 'News of the World' where it states that 6 players or so led a backlash to Cook and Marwood about Hughes sacking. Apperently they were furious and upset by this. I bloody hope this is untrue or will blow over. I'm assuming these are Given, bellamy, Ireland, zabaleta, Santa cruz and swp. Possibly. Hopefully this will settle down, and that it won't damage their play and performances, as they were all loyal to Hughes.

I am sad that mark Hughes has go e, but imo the team wasn't performing in recent months, I for one though, can't wait to see how the players react to Mancini and play well. Can't fooking wait

I doubt this story very much. The guy outside eastlands from ssn was saying he'd spoken to a number of the players who'd said they were shocked, sad to see Hughes go but ultimately its a results buisness and its not been good enough recently, which if anything points to player power forcing him out

I remember when Dunne led the apparent 'party' over the treatment of Svennis. I also seem to remember that a lot of 'fans' at the time said that the players should get on with the job or leave, if they didn't like it.

I think the exact same should be said here!
