Credit to Pellegrini for switching to 442 in second half, with Sterling alongside Aguero we created much more
Whole squad looks hungrier this year.
Great to see Sterling get off the mark. Fernandinho, Silva, & Toure off to a great start. Sagna looks a new player, and Nasri looks like he can actually be bothered again - playing like he wants that spot back.
This is also probably the deepest we've ever been. Fantastic starting 11 with quality on the bench, and thats without Otamendi, De Bruyne, Bony, Clichy, Zab, and Fernando.
Oh - Chelsea and Liverpool both losing at home tops off a great day.

Dinho, Sagna, Sterling, Silva and Toure (in 2nd half) were great.
Sterling's weight of pass is off sometimes but he doesn't half pull defences all over the place.
Aguero had an off day, did some good stuff but also looked too desperate for a goal.
Navas had one of his shitty days.
Everyone else was decent tho

If we get beat 4-0 at Palace they will go top after 5 games.

After 4 games we are 8 points and 13 goals better than the Chavs
We will of course have KDB providing assists and goals at Palace so no worries.

Slow football first half but Watford defended well and were organised. Then second half we changed things and the play was better, quicker and we played some lovely stuff. Fernandinho rightly given MOTM, plays so well considering he's not a natural defensive midfield player.
That was the sort of game that last season we'd lose to a counter attacking goal. We're a different animal now

Great result for us, considering Watford wanted to park the bus all the time during the match, good decision to bring Nasri on for the 2nd half, great to see Sterling get his first goal plus Fernandinho, and good to see Delph and Kelechi come on at the end................well done guys............

Sterling was fantastic. It's great to see he has the strength of character to not succumb to the 'weight of the price tag round his neck'.
