Post Match Thread | City vs Borussia Monchengladbach (14/09/16)

At last we have a manager who can see when things aren't right and make the changes. We were lazy in the last 10 minutes of the 1st half and could have conceded. We came out much tighter and hungrier for the ball. Borussia never got a look in and we should have scored more. Sane and Gundogan look class, and if we are forced to miss the likes of Aguero or Silva we have more than adequate replacements. I am buzzing for the rest of the season now, I don't doubt that there will be a blip or two but it won't be through lack of effort like last season.

Our most complete performance of the season, in control from the 1st minute to the last.

Controversial statement...........Aguero, 9 goals in 5 games and I don't think he's even had a particularly good game (by his standards) in any of them. If he gets up to his top level and stays fit he can destroy all records in the Prem. Who knows he might even get in the TOTY.

Could have been eleven :)

There is awful lot from pep,s city to come in gernal :), i am not the who likes to get cocky, but i have a strong feeling we will have a significant lead by christmas in the league
Agreed.
Improving game by game.
This is the best City team I have seen in 46 yrs of watching them.

Can't believe that was Manchester city I just watched. I know it's been nearly 20 years since we were in old div 2 but fuck me. I remember going wrexham away with my dad (York away was sold old) fast forward to now....
Amazing.

Just got home from the game and wow we are fucking good. Should have won by about 6 really.
