I have no idea what they think as a team of course fans of newly promoted clubs always get a bit giddy and for good reason they cause many a shock at the start of every season, Blackpool turned Liverpool over twice, Cardiff beat us (and then went on to lose every other game) and who can forget Burnley however we are in devastating form at the moment

With the team selection they have definitely prioritised the league fixture, this often happens with the newly promoted teams as Premier league success is the be all and end all. May be a few players in shop window for Watford tonight as they will be looking to move a few before window closes.

I'm sure City won't be going into this game with any complacency though, I hope that's the same with the fans. We need to get the Etihad rocking for this match also.

Our pre-match team talk in the dressing room will mention the word "Burnley" at least 73 times. There's no chance of complacency in this one. Not after last season. If we don't win, Watford will have played amazing. But I expect City to be commanding and do a professional job on them.

Agreed. There must be no complacency. We need to carry on playing with the same purpose and intensity that we have been.

Funny
How things change
If memory serves....
Last year 7points out of a possible 18
From the bottom 3
If Math is correct
Saturday's three points are the biggest yet
Hope KDB gets here soon

Watford haven't scored in 2 and City haven't conceded in 3.

So 2-0 to Watford then?

I'm haunted by that home game against Burnley last season. 2-0 up at half time and cruising. Suddenly a dodgey offside decision see's an onslaught and us hanging onto 2-2. That game was definately the start of our slide regarding the league.

Time for us to put another marker down, nothing stupid but a solid 2-0 win would be great.

Come on City, another great chance to secure another three points.

Going into the international break with 12 points out of 12 would be above what I expected.

I want to see us put on a convincing home performance, where we never look like we are going to lose or draw.

The players should be as equally up for this one as they were for the Chelsea match.

No complacency please City. High tempo, early goals, and smash them to pieces. I want to see Raheem and Aguero get on the scoresheet with a brace each.
