Reet Blues, I thought it would be interesting to see what you feel the Premier league table will look like at the end of next season.

Im gonna try and not be biased... although I think City will win the league (Is it biased to think City will win it? haha), anyway heres mine:

1. Manchester City
2. Manchester United
3. Chelsea
4. Arsenal
5. Liverpool
6. Tottenham
7. West Ham United
8. Leicester City
9. Southampton
10. Stoke City
11. Everton
12. West Brom
13. Burnley
14. Crystal Palace
15. Bournemouth
16. Watford
17. Swansea
18. Hull
19. Sunderland
20. Middlesbrough

Thoughts on this blues? New managers and a war chest available for both Manchester clubs so think it will be a two horse race for the title. Chelsea will improve but wont win it, Arsenal will be Arsenal im guessing. Leicester depends on who they keep, but I feel they will lose their two best players, and also last season was a freak season, they'll surely fall away. From 10th to 17th just filler teams who have no chance of doing anything ever, just like us pre 2008 to be fair. Sunderland will surely finally go down, hull had to win the play offs to come up so im saying they're goners, Middlesbrough, I don't know enough about them... So bottom for them.

Much is going to change of course, but I like doing this stuff

1. Manchester City
2. Arsenal
3. West Ham
4. Liverpool
5. Tottenham
6. Chelsea
7. Man United
8. Leicester City
9. Everton
10. Stoke City
11. Sunderland
12. West Brom
13. Watford
14. Crystal Palace
15. Bournemouth
16. Boro
17. Southampton
18. Swansea
19. Hull
20. Burnley

I've done it based on current squads, but of course Utd could go out and buy Pogba etc. At the moment their squad is rubbish but Mourinho will surely buy better than LVG ad Moyes did. They cant get it wrong 9 windows running surely. Gone for WHU to improve still further as playing in front of 60,000 at home could transform them. Think Sunderland will not struggle for once Sam is a good manager. Boro to stay up....Aitor Karanka and a wealthy owner. Should buy well. Liverpool to get into top 4 as I thought there were signs of improvement late on under Klopp. i think at the moment they believe in the manager's style.

I can't bring myself to put City at the top, but can't see anyone else likely, so I'll have a league of 19 instead thanks.

Its interesting to see that you both feel United will still be unable to get Champions League, I think they will 100% strengthen and get it.

Haven't you lot been taking any notice of Everton fans? Surely they'll win the league next season!

Obviously too early to say too much but I'm fairly confident that City, Chelsea and United will all get top 4 with the last spot being decided between Spurs, Arsenal and Liverpool

They've got a good manager, and apparently finance. That's two important ingredients. Guarantees nothing of course but to be fair I think they have good grounds to be optimistic

Must be very disappointing for Southampton fans to see Koeman leave.

I think they will strengthen, but I thought LVG did OK to get Utd to 5th even if they were terrible to watch. I don't think there's much room for a new manager bounce where he'll get loads more out of the players than the previous manager, plus after recent seasons, there are question marks about Mourinho too. Maybe they will have a good transfer window, but at the moment I think teams like City, Chelsea, Arsenal etc are all going to improve. There's also teams like West Ham and Everton who might have good seasons.

I agree with all you've said there but my comment was very much tongue in cheek. Though I think some of their fans are getting a bit carried away!
It is a shame Koeman's leaving but, I was also a bit miffed when Poch left. Saints don't appoint managers without them suiting our way of playing. Nether of our last two were doing anything great before we employed them especially Poch who was hardly known by anyone. Maybe Saints already had someone in mind (hope so) knowing this was likely to happing this or next year.
I do trust those in charge at Saints.
As our new(ish) motto goes We march on!
