Premier League and FA's Plan To End Illegal Streaming Of Football

its easy to fix just show all the games at the away teams grounds all have big screens or fans squares a small charge will cover the cost
or even better build a multi cinema complex and you can watch any game you like

Sky and BT ripped off the pubs. If it was more avoidable then we'd all be in there every weekend watching every game. The pubs couldn't sustain the price applied by the greedy cuts so went to dodgy streams

simple solution, make every game available live to stream in HD with no buffering, with full match downloadable highlights and every match (at least from the PL era) available to download and keep, with a range of "pay-per-match" and subscription packages to suit a wide audience.

Not sure if they still have, but in New Zealand they had something called Premier League Pass, it was amazing. Every match was streamed online, but not only live, all the full matches were available until the next fixtures. $200 for the season.

This is the most frustrating thing though.... People living in countries 12k miles away than England have better access to our fucking sport than we do.

We need a official streaming service, with a pass that is affordable and allows us to watch what we want.
Will it affect attendance's?
No as just as many people are streaming now.
However the more accessible something is, the more likely people will be to consume that product in various ways, such as watching a club online regularly and eventually deciding to go along to the stadium, buy merchandise and so on.

I mean this service could allow you to watch every Grimsby Town match. Some American could become a full Grimsby fan, watch every game and buy merchandise.

Eventually flying over to watch Grimsby lol.

Rather than choosing Rags and Spuds as their club.

The contract was never renewed by the prem sadly, it was a good source.

It was great, they had it in the pubs and everything. Matches were in the middle of the night, so used to avoid the score then go and get them to put it on for me with a cheeky early pint.

Could probably negotiate larger sponsorship deals as well, with more exposure.
