Apparently there are now growing calls to postpone it until 8th-9th Jan, the FA Cup 3rd round weekend.

I think there is a number of things to consider:

- There is a World Cup next season, so delaying this season will mean the preparation for next season and next season in general will be more disrupted.
- They could play the games on the European mid-weeks but that is no use to teams still in Europe.
- It might mean more games in January but teams such as Liverpool will want to avoid that with their star players away at AFCON (if that goes ahead).

I think City will want to try and fulfill the games if and when possible as opposed to a postponement. I don't think we'd want the fixture congestion at the end.

PL say continue as normal for now:

I think we should write off this season, play the games as friendlies (if you could ever have a friendly with the CoachWreckers 'n Swamp Dwellers!)to keep everyone fit and award the 21-22 title to the team with the greater number of points per game - it's what the FA did with the FAWSL last season. Oh, wait a minute, that'd mean MCFC won another title. Oh, fuck that for a game of footy, we'll wait till City lose the next couple of games and the Dippers win the next two, then we'll have the points per game solution, and a much better solution all round. What do you say Mr Aldridge?

We went to the chavs with fourteen fit players but played , it is kneejerk to stop games yet
I agree. We don’t know what the numbers are for each team at the moment, so we can’t say whether it needs to be cancelled or not.

Given what I’ve read, I’d try and keep matches going and hope as many can be played as possible.
