I agree but if you travel to Newcastle tomorrow to be told it’s off you will be pissed off. Wasted journey & expense. It’s all to unknown to actually plan anything which is why I think 2 weeks off and re-set. I see full lockdown on its way anywayAnd what happens when in 2 weeks things are still the same? The players are hardly going to live like hermits are they if it gets suspended?
Only way forward is to bring back the bubbles and really tighten the protocols at clubs. Just play the games that can be played in the meantime

Know where they stand for two weeks until the next outbreak when omicron has properly taken hold of the UK.Another game just cancelled today! Just close it for 2 weeks so players & clubs know where they stand. Ridiculous this
I think the approach is right to be honest, play whichever games can be played and try to keep the football going for the fans.
Games like Villa-Burnley aren't too bad as they can be played when teams in Europe are playing.
It's the teams in Europe that could do with as few delays as possible.

If we were one of the club's wanting the break they'd have plastered it all over their news coverage.
Makes me think it's the redshirts dictating again.
