Premier league game 17th may (page 11)

Be interesting to hear Tyler trying to big this game up

Will more than likely me United going all out for the Champions League ITS LIVE ON SKY rather than United try for 5th

Tyler is past it and needs to hang up the microphone next season. He can't keep getting rolled out each and every season.

I suspect he's arrogant enough to think he can keep doing it and keep his finger on the pulse of the football hipsters.

United are in a no win situation tonight. Even if by some extraordinary miracle they genuinely were to win 19-0 tonight nobody in the universe would ever buy that as a legitimate achievement. It would inevitably be challenged to the highest level given how the score is 6 goals more than the highest ever in all four divisions (and that was over a century ago) and more than double the Premier League record of 9.

Not to mention getting exactly 19 - 0 knowing that was the score needed up front thanks to what went on Sunday would multiply the odds from stratospheric to impossible levels.

So they probably have to win around 21-0 to make it look 'credible'.

Suspect even Tyler would not dare try to make that sound an option in his commentary.

Though the media seem to think they will play a strong team as they need a result (or to win the final) to guarantee no Europa play off three days after they play us in China.

There's less chance of this happening with the weekend in mind and their new found interest in "the greatest competition in the world" but i'll be turning on tonight purely in the hope that Bournemouth score first and the crowd turns toxic. Could be a laugh.

I don't know if this has been mentioned somewhere already but did the scum announce their team for today's game? If so, shouldn't they have to field that team, otherwise they could field a load of youngsters against Bournemouth and rest their first team players for the Cup Final? Or am I missing something?

I think that when a game is abandoned it is written off and they start again. If one of 'em fell off the coach and broke both legs then they'd have a new sub in!

If the crowd turns toxic would they have to abandon the game because of a suspected bio-attack?

Or the game rearranged for 6 months later and in United's case all gone off to Real Madrid and other better clubs. Leaving Rooney's right leg to play in goal, his left leg centre half and his hair up front.

How does that James Cooper keep his job at Sky Sports News? Just watched him outside the Meccano set, doing his spiel before tonight's game. He came out with "yes, they haven't made the last 4 of the Champions' League", then he wound up by saying "everybody will be delighted when the referee puts his fingers to his lips, I mean, the whistle to his lips".

Fuckwit.
