Premier League Games 12/13/14 September

I don't think the keep the flag down rule was being applied then, particularly in Europe. That was the sickener but the handball goal was what really did it for me.

Neither was the ball going in off an arm being automatically disallowed rule in place, as far as I know.

oliver blew instantly for a pen, like he was just waiting for an offense...... didn t even think about it! Pen!!!!!

TBF to Oliver (and I hate doing that) in real time the first one looked a pen all day and every day, it was only in slow motion that the deflection became apparent (to me at least), so VAR official is to my mind the one at fault here. Second one, anyone disputing that is wearing his conspiracy hat a little too tight

watch all the highlights of the games so far and its worst than last season with the ref's and VAR officials

liverpool hand ball nail on pen
west ham same thing waved away

officials are in full control and will keep helping liverpool and united with soft pens and other things
manchester city are going to need 3 goals a game to beat teams this season ? and in the big games we must be super human to get anything out of them because its 11 vs 15 on the pitch and the VAR team watching

We all got duped by VAR thinking it would end the cheats in charge of games and didn't realise it just helps them do what they do even more.

When it suits, VAR does not intervene and when it suits, it does.

Covid and the financial hit to the game means that it is imperative a Utd/Liverpool/Chelsea/Arsenal type team wins the PL for the foreseeable as TV income and rights deals will be what keeps certain clubs and the Leagues position alive.

Only way to make it fair is have a live feed from the VAR room - nowhere to hide then.

I was under the impression that this season the on field ref were going to check the pitch side monitor. If Oliver had done he would have clearly seen the deflection.

Hmmmm possible high foot from Wilson VAR gives it a cursory glance and goal stands ..
Wasn't a 'possible' - foot was as high as the goalie's head. But if yer don't make contact these days it isn't classed as dangerous! And then, when an attacker nigh on decapitates a goalie the DipperDiaspora are claiming it's only a yellow 'cos the goalie lived.
