They were shite but they’ve got 2 absolute world class players in their front 3. Watching it and was fully expecting the 2nd to come eventually due to Salah and Mane’s pace out wide. That’s how we were when at our best and it’s what we need to get back to. We’ve now got Mahrez or Bernardo on the right and a nowhere near as good Sterling on the left. So hope Leroy stays but if not we are desperate for a similarly quick and brilliant player for the left of our front 3 to catch these fuckers again next season.

Everybody's missing a point that counts (for me, at least): regardless of what the dippers do, if the history books tell true, City will have been the first team ever to get to the hundred point mark. Just as City will have the been the first (and so far, only) team ever to have won the domestic treble. And just as — and I hate saying this, but the truth is sometimes painful — United are the first and so far only team to have won the domestic double and the CL.
The dippers are not the first team in the British Isles, or England, to have won the CL or its previous incarnation, the European Cup. So they can just fuck right off…
