Premier League Games 18/19/20/21/22 July

The standard of refereeing proven in one incident.
First of all the ref looking straight at it from a set piece and didn’t see it, secondly it took VAR about 15 looks at it on loop to confirm it.

I may be wrong but doesn't a deliberate handball warrant a card?
Yep , make it up as they go along , he may have to book him later so the ref is protecting him from a potential sending off . You’ve got to get in to the mind of these crooks .

It was that clear cut they can only have been looking for any reason not to give it. Watch for the dodgy decisions this half.

I reckon they knew after the first replay that it was a penalty. All the subsequent replays were them looking for reasons not to give it.

They were probably looking at that while someone else looked at a second feed to see if they could find some way of ruling out the pen and giving the rags a freekick ..
