Questions need to be asked....when are Salah and Mane going to be called out for the diving twats they are ?
Stop being foolish. However bad it goes for them, Liverpool fans will always feel proud for Sadio Mane and TA Arnold, two true gentlemen on the pitch. In the framework of 5 seconds, the former dives superbly in the box, the latter then kicks Gylfi right in front of the linesman, game on. How the fuck these two haven't won the Fair Play award yet, is totally beyond me - and a fucking disgrace...
Ferguson was crying in the end, it got to me. Then I see Anceloti hugging his captain, an even more touching moment. That boy has suffered severely from injuries, yet he will always be there, leaving his heart and soul on the pitch. He finds his form again, Everton's dynamic offensively improves significantly...
I have always shared positive feelings for Everton, their identity, their fans. I am not going to let an unfortunate moment - yes, I'm referring to that statement - change that. That's my decision, and I'm pretty sure most of the people participating in this forum are thinking the same way...
Congratulations to all the Everton friends contributing to this forum, I am fully aware of what this win means for you. If I'm being objective, the team's performance needs major improvement so as to make top 4. Despite recent positive results, Anceloti has a lot of work to do in order to raise the quality of Everton's game, not sure this level will be enough. Matches like this help to lift moral and confidence within the squad, hopefully the effect will not prove to be temporary and the team will show progress in terms of chemistry, cohesion, defensive solidity, rhythm etc. I hope they do make it - and if they leave Liverpool out of the CL spots it would be a bonus...
But this discussion can wait. You've waited and suffered for decades, this is your night. Enjoy it, you deserve it. Good luck...
