Should be taking into account that Benfica are at their lowest point since the 1940s at the moment and are being investigated for huge levels of match fixing. No top coach would touch them. That's his level right now.

The whole Portuguese league looks fucked. TPO regulations and increased SA scouting from the richer leagues killed their clubs in the transfer market and it looks like all 3 of Porto, Sporting and Benfica are getting dragged into their own Calciopoli domestically.

You can tell he is trying to transition to the ‘Hazard’ style of tricky wing play to compensate but it really is not something he has the natural abilities to make work.

Unlike Sterling or Sane, who would both still be fairly good even if they lost some of their pace, just because they’re closer to Messi than Ronaldo in their type of “efficient” dribbling.
