Premier League Games 19/20 Jan

They seem to have the annoying knack of winning by 1 goal, even though that result is gutting (its the hope that kills you) I think their last couple of games have shown they are creaking slightly. As long as we keep the pressure on I honestly believe they will feel it at some point.

I find it best not to watch or follow in any way at all when they are playing, assume they are going to/have won, then just find out afterwards.

7 point gap if we haven't played. That's another thing, why are we always on catch up? How about we play first and put a point between us so there's pressure on them?

We're still in January. A lot can happen between now and May. Injuries and suspensions are piling up for them now and are going to stretch the squad to its absolute limit

There was a piece in the MEN this week about how for something like the next 7 rounds of fixtures, we play BEFORE the dippers, so instead of the gap widening and us having to win to close it, we can potentially close it right up and heap pressure of them to re-open it. Apparently it can be a massive factor, who plays first.

They did defend poorly in this game and you believe those who think they won't drop points are deluding themselves. So assume they will win all their remaining games then, I guess pep might as well send out the kids next game.
