Premier League Games 23/24/25 August

I'm worried Arsenal will concede a stupid goal trying to play out the back.

I’d be relatively happy if it was just one, I’m expecting at least a couple, maybe an own goal and possibly a red card. They don’t have the players to play out and beat the press nor is it to their advantage. Liverpool will want that so they can press them into mistakes they should be playing the percentage balls over the top for the pace of Aubameyang and Pepe to get in behind Liverpool’s extremely high and disjointed defensive line, even if they don’t create direct chances from it it gets them up the pitch bypasses the press and gives them a platform to play in their half from, of course that’s not going to happen though. 4/5-1 dippers.

I'd say 50% chance Liverpool win, 40% chance of a score draw, 10% chance of Arsenal winning and no chance of 0-0.

If the Arsenal forwards can keep Liverpool's full backs pushed back... *crosses fingers*
I’d say 90% chance Liverpool win.

Tbf you don’t really need a midfield v the dippers.

They usually bypass the midfield with balls over the top into the channels.

The key to sorting the dippers is to stop that and to stop their full backs launching crosses in.

Having said that, Xhaka is probably the worst player I’ve ever seen at a top 6 side.
He is unfortunate that Danny Mills left us in 2009.

Bloody good work from us, though.

Kyle Martino said James "made the most of it" but also said it was a foul.

The other one that was not given, I hate to say it, but that was definitely a pen if we look at the one we didn't get for Rodri.
Kyle Martino was overrated as a player and it has continued all the way into his broadcasting career. He seems to be NBC's chief apologist for the demise of the scum and the greatest promoter of littlepools 'rightful place at the top'. A w@nker.
