Premier League Games 25/26/27 August '18

Again and for the last time I never claimed it was done over 8 years. I suggested he viewed the Bath paper and looked at our pen record over the last 8 years. If that was not clear on my initial post thats unfortunate but has been clearly explained twice now.,
Right ok you'd lumped two different things together, I get it now.

Fair enough but you did say the study carried out by bath university may give him a more objective view, the "luck index" was little more than a fluff piece for Liverpool in truth, with little credibility is what I wanted to get across(the 9 factors were suspiciously selective for a start).

For what it's worth regarding today's game, I don't think we should have had any pens but the ref and his linesmen were still useless.

Back on topic.

What about the first question ?

Keep the agenda, anti agenda to the agenda thread where the agendarists or otherwise can party to their hearts content. its boring as fuck.

Yes speak to the mods about it, who merged the swings and roundabout thread into this one. We had a nice litte agenda, no agenda party going on. Not my choice.

It was not clear on my first post to bluebybirth so my apologies for that.

Im not sure I see this report as a bit of pool pr. This was conducted by a recognised university, overseen by professors who have wrote authoritarive pieces on numerous subjects. Not a chance the uni would skew data to give liverpool a pr boost.

Did you only post in the post match thread ?

Or did you join in the discussion prematch and matchday ?

I guess not.

I did. Was a busy bee this morning and if you wish to see what I was doing please visit the running thread I posted in :-)

It was paid for by ESPN, "3 trained coders" decided what was a lucky decision... sorry you seem to have a very naive view regarding university studies(like they are never paid for? ESPN have said as much with this one) also nice use of the word "authoritative" I see what you tried there but no dice, I'm not having that at all. I've read the methodology I suggest you do too(have a think about the factors they left out for a start compared to some of the ones they deemed more important which happen less often during the course of a season... clear goal scoring opportunities missed? off the woodwork?) but I'll leave it there before the mods go mental.

Fair enough. We can agree to disagree on that as that is the beauty of a forum and a university research paper :-)
