He’s right what advantage is he gaining it’s micro millimetres ffs,taking too long over these offside decisions the sooner the automated system is in the better..

Don't know why it's not been implemented at the start of the season , why halfway through ?

If you want the actual answer - it's because the Premier League decided to use a new system which wasn't ready at the start of the season on the promise it would be state of the art. Rather than go for one of the existing systems they use in other leagues that will soon be outdated tech.

I also think it's stupid to do it halfway through a season, for what it's worth. If it isn't ready then surely it has to wait for Aug 2025.

Yep, offside is (in theory) binary, but in practice the technology isn't up to the task and a 'best guess' option is applied, in those cases who do you favour?

I don't see how this is an elite game. Both teams have been poor and heavily reliant on set pieces to create. Without our injury woes I'm sure we would've walked this league.
