Which trophies would they be? He can't play in the league cup, we're miles clear in the league and the other 2 are a lottery.

We don't need Sanchez to win the Prem this season - so sign him on a free in the summer ? ( the Chumps League though is another matter)

If Sanchez is signing in Jan, would he be playing 4 days earlier? I'm not so sure.

Someone pointed out in the VVD thread that Liverpool make it a condition that any potential signing not play, hence his absence in recent games, whereas we do not. No idea whether that is true or not but sounds plausible and gives me hope. :-)
