You'd have to put some of that on Vinnie's shoulders. Yes; their players are shite. But it'd the manager's job to have them properly set up come match day. Especially a manager who was such a top notch defender. But it's often been said that great players don't make great managers. And that some of the best managers weren't outstanding players.

Not sure you can put a player deciding to play a suicidal pass whilst facing his own goal on Vinny.

They were actually setup fine in that moment. The defence was undone by one of their own playing Antony in on goal.
