I'm trying to remember where it started to go wrong for Arsenal. They were a nailed on top four club challenging for trophies a few years ago. Obviously ourselves and Chelsea being able to compete with them financially put them under pressure but to fall so far is still a surprise. I guess the stadium move crippled them instead of giving them the boost they thought it would.
They're getting the scraps off the table. They're unlikely to get any games involving clubs in the "top six"™.The BBC like to present themselves as powerhouses but I can't remember them ever getting the broadcast rights to a league game with even one top team in it.
Saints v us, last season. One long range effort, against dozens of ours. We lost. Typical City ;-)The BBC like to present themselves as powerhouses but I can't remember them ever getting the broadcast rights to a league game with even one top team in it.
Thank goodness they brought Peter Walton in to help me understand that decision.
