I'm trying to remember where it started to go wrong for Arsenal. They were a nailed on top four club challenging for trophies a few years ago. Obviously ourselves and Chelsea being able to compete with them financially put them under pressure but to fall so far is still a surprise. I guess the stadium move crippled them instead of giving them the boost they thought it would.
Their recent recruitment has been terrible. Putting Ozil to one side, Pepe has been poor, Willian doesn’t want to be there, Lacazette rarely scores, Bellerin has regressed, Odegard looks bang average, Aubameyang is off form. Arteta needs to almost start again from scratch and I doubt he will receive that kind of support from the club.

They're getting the scraps off the table. They're unlikely to get any games involving clubs in the "top six"™.The BBC like to present themselves as powerhouses but I can't remember them ever getting the broadcast rights to a league game with even one top team in it.

Thought the ref didn't look too long at Var for arsenal penalty. Saw one view and that was it. Was a nailed on penalty but you'd think he would look at 2 or 3 angles just to be sure
