Or the clubs they dont
Typical of everything “United” these days. They’re so hyperbolic it’s ridiculous.Bit naughty from Saka, that. But to call it a "leg breaker" is slightly over egging the pudding.
Someone must have spiked his drink, then.According to someone on the BBC they're pinning Arsenal back and pinging the ball around really well. I'm not watching it as I can't be trusted not to kick my telly in, but as the BBC are impartial I'll believe them.
Just reading that as I don’t watch them either. From the text commentary it sounds like they are absolutely battering Arsenal yet when I look at the stats it says 3 shots each.According to someone on the BBC they're pinning Arsenal back and pinging the ball around really well. The problem is that they look for ANYTHING after a goal is scored. If that break had led to a corner or free kick, nothing happens. The bar for disallowing a goal should be very high indeed. VAR should have no more than a minute to look at it and the on field referee should never look at something slowed down.I dont think you can say it was incorrectly ruled. There was contact and it was, therefore, strictly speaking a foul. However it’s the inconsistency that drives you crazy. Refs have been letting worse than that go all season and we are being told that refs are being instructed to let the game flow…. unless it leads to a goal.
We need consistency.
