I don't have any issue with that being given as a penalty, as long as other similar fouls are also given. Which, often, they are not

so, you're saying you have an issue with it (as I do), because similar fouls are NOT also given!

I don’t think it was and it wasn’t a clear and obvious mistake. why ain’t Maguire‘s arm pull checked by VAR? It’s all well and good taking the high ground but those bastards and their stooges are in the gutter.
