He was an absolute arsepipe when we signed Lescott from Everton

Yes he was and sniped and whined about us all the time. He's learnt some humility since then and is better for it

Just seen Moyes's post match interview. Apart from the fact that his Everton often gave us a hard time (unlike his United!), I've never quite understood the hatred for the guy on here. I'll say it – he comes over as o.k., he's honest enough to say that the Hammers didn't play all that well. I'm pleased for him.

It's because when things don't go his way he can be extraordinarily bitter about it, which built up resentment from us.

The Lescott and United things didn't help.
