Premier League Games 7/8 Oct '23

I suspect Spurs are having a little period of new manager bounce and normality will very soon return

The improvement after getting rid of Kane is puzzling. Dier, though? The guy is shit. He couldn't mark a letter box (you might call them a mail box).

If we still had Kane we would be even better.

Some of the reasons for improvement rather than what people say

1) A declining Hugo replaced by a better Vicario
2) A young energetic Udogie now in place of an average Seesengon/Ben Davies
3) VDV partnering Romero instead of useless Dier
4) Bissouma and Sarr in midfield instead of Pierre/Skipp
5) Maddison
6) A manager who allows us to play football for the first time in 5 years

We still need a striker unless Veliz can do the business

I notice you agreed with my opinion on Dier!

Brave of you to bring up Bissouma, mind.

All good points. I couldn’t believe so many Managers (including the useless Southgate) had Dier as first choice in their teams. Truly s..t player.

What a disappointment.

Still, I can’t see it lasting. There’s absolutely zero chance of Spurs winning the league, and if they somehow finish above us then we’ll have had our worst season for over a decade.

I think a large upgrade is needed on Richarlison and Kulusevski.

The centre halves need some more depth, you'll be screwed if one of the current two are out.

Maddison needs a creative back up, as it doesn't look like Lo Celso can do the job.

Apart from that, you've got the makings of a good team. It'll be interesting to see how Bentacur comes back as well.

Supersports already hanging their flags onto the rags, horrendous start this could be the catalyst for their season.

Some Geordie scrote not even recognising the fact that Brentford go above the rags if they win today and stretch their GD too.
