It was a definite penalty.
Not seen it but still the rags get a lot of penalties.

Strong dippers line-up, their bench is fucking bobbins though.
I’ve no problem with them or any other team getting legitimate penalties. The one today was legitimate so no complaints. Not seen it but still the rags get a lot of penalties.
Why? He’s doing a great job for them. Whether it’s him, Phelan, the GPC or Busby’s ghost there’s no denying the turnaround in such a short time is some achievement. Not just the results but the way they’re playing is probably the best they’ve been since the GPC retired.
Name anyone in football management who you think could’ve done the same job he’s done so far and there’d be some illustrious names on that list.
People kept saying “they’ve only beaten relegation fodder, wait until they play Spurs” then it was “Arsenal will do them” and it hasn’t happened yet. They will slip up eventually but they have surpassed what most people expected and looks like continuing beyond today.
If they carry on the way they have since Mourinho was sacked they will reach their target of top 4 and he will probably get the gig full time, I would say deservedly so.
I’m just glad he was brought in midway through a poor season for them. Imagine if he started last summer and got the same results he has so far, they’d be in the title race.
especially if they miss out on top 4 which is a real possibilityOkay so we all knew that their had good players just wasn’t playing for the unspecial one. To lift a side rock bottom in morale and tactics is much easier than going into a season with the pressure on to win things. Next season if they appoint him he will be under real pressure to deliver from a much higher starting point. They know that and that is why they are still looking around at managers. I personally don’t think they will give it him.
