Premier League (midweek) Games 10/11/12 May '22

Our fanbase has gone proper weird about referee corruption. It’s sad to see to be honest.

Holding should have been given a straight red for that shoulder into Son’s head. He meant to do it. Even Rudiger didn’t mean to do what he did to de Bruyne last year, he just tried to body check him and ended up coming off with a fracture.
Well you tell me how an elite professional referee (supposedly) 12 days apart, can give such wildly different decisions for the same range of offences, and before you refer to "maybe he got told off", why wasn't it corrected after he let Milner off? Why is it only against City these offences aren't punished game after game, yet suddenly tonight he's punishing them with glee?

Paul Tierney's fouls per tackle average this season is 0.64.

His fouls per tackle average for Liverpool's opponents is 0.91, for City is 0.43, so less than half for us. Liverpool's opponents on average also get double the number of yellows per game (3.67 vs 1.8)
