Premier League (midweek) Games 2/3/4 April '24

There are people who think they're knowledgable about football who will say that the Chelsea-United game was a good game of football. That it was “exciting”, more than recent matches have been (and they're obviously aiming at one in particular). I saw that on the BBC site and I'm sure it's being said by people propping up the bar all over the country. I do not consider that a game based on a series of utter cock-ups compounded by luck is a good game of football, and the mere fact that there were seven goals largely due to mutual incompetence will never constitute a good game of football.

Hahaha, well done Cole lad, fucking love finding out those twats got a beating, particularly such a late turnaround.

I have watched many of his games. He is undeniably good going forward (even then, has issues, which constantly frustrate his teammates), bút everything else is poor. He was poor throughout tonight and contributed to Chelsea needing to come back in the first place.

He would be now where near a regular starter under Pep (as Pep would never tolerate is overall game, which he wanted), hence he left.

It was a good move for all involved.
Lazy greedy fucker

Anyway Boehly will be pleased to see his billion quid on transfers has seen Chelsea move above Bournemouth.

Got in from the gym and put the TV on, to hear how the rags had turned it around to 3-2 from 2-0 down, just in time to see the two Chelsea goals go in. That was genuinely funny as fuck. Watching the rags nearly crying at the end made my night!
