The league was over when we drew at Newcastle. Now win the other three I say.

I think it was over after the defeat at Anfield tbh. Like you say though, all out for the cups now.

Of all the games to sing their praise, tonight wasn’t one of them.
They were shite and without their favourite Scouse son doing his thing in the wolves defence and the usual shithousery in front of goal by the opposition, they’d have been well beat.
Less said about Oliver, the better.

I`d be happy with the two English competitions.We have no chance of the CL ... UEFA will see to that.

Two English competitions would be fantastic. Would be 8 out of last 9 trophies in domestic leagues and cups inc Community Shield!

That was the defining game. Even in spite of a bad start to the season we had a chance that day to cut their lead to three points but ended the game and our title defence nine points behind.

We weren't that bad at Anfield at all. We were unfortunate to lose our first choice keeper for starters (it was an equally important CL before that game).
