Premier League (midweek) Games 3/4/5 December 2024

Says a lot about the PL this season where you can't easily call any of those games. Some huge ones at the bottom of the table where a team could be cut adrift or drag their opposition further into trouble.

I'd back Arsenal and the dippers, but by no means with any certainty. Chelsea away at Southampton is probably the only one you'd be confident in calling.

Neither of the ones on tonight are particularly riveting prospects. If I have to choose, I'll probably go with the Ipswich vs Palace game.
See how fast Palace are on the break to prepare ourselves for the inevitable on Saturday at 3pm...

( I jest but am totally peed off at fast opponents like a knife through a block of Lurpak scoring at first time of trying)!!

Yeah, looking at these you’d assume Sky/TNT got first pick about games the weekend before and after, and Amazon have had to pick accordingly - because they certainly haven’t spread these games out in the way I’d expect them to, lumping all the big games on the same night.

And if the above is true, I’m also surprised; Amazon have so few games, you’d think their choices would take priority.

Amazon get a december round of games every year , might be another round nearer the holidays but would think not

They always stage this round like this and have different times for kick off , over the two nites , one of lifes mysteries , lol

Yeah, and Boxing Day too I think. Just seems odd if they had first dibs over 3 nights to put all the biggies on the Wednesday, even if the KO times are a bit staggered.
