Premier League(midweek)Games 8/9/10 May

There are some terrible teams in the premier league. I have no idea why some teams celebrate getting promoted then do nothing when they get there. I think the bottom side gets 100 million in the premier league they should be forced to spend that on players to at least be competitive. I know it is harder to attract top players to smaller clubs but some of the shit served up is criminal.
So after doing that and getting relegated because 3 teams have to be relegated then what?

Football fans seem to think the only outgoings a club has is on buying player's. Running a football club isn't cheap.

Bollocks, just check the goal differences.

I’m aware of the goal difference but if this doesn’t change they’ll just pack the defence to avoid a heavy defeat. Personally I think it would suit us better if they needed to beat us whilst also knowing that a Swansea win over stoke means they’re buggered anyway whatever happens

That is fair, but I think we can all agree this is a better outcome for us than a draw or a Swansea win.

At least, for Yaya’s ankles. ;-)

good thing all their centre-backs are getting hurt and they can't really defend.

I am aware of that but something has to be done. They call it the premier league but it isn't really. You have Burnley in seventh place after scoring only 35 goals all season so far and who actually went 11 games without a win.

I don't think they are a park the bus team, and a two goal defeat will not harm them.

Also if Huddersfield get stuffed by Chelsea they will have to avoid defeat in Wengers last match or a Swansea win over Stoke will send them down instead.

Having said all that we have to first beat Brighton tomorrow or 100 points will not happen.
